FORESTED — MARYIZA


During the summer of 2020, I worked for up-and-coming startup Forested Foods, a company with brings the products of farmers from Ethiopia to the United States. The company thrives on a model that centers agroforestry, the practice of regenerative agriculture, as well as sustainability and ethics.

I was responsible for maintaining Maryiza’s social media presence, updating its brand guidelines, creating infographics, and developing a set of new packaging boxes for use in e-commerce.

Reaching deep within the voice and purpose of the brand, I wrote copy and created graphics that brought Maryiza’s poetic and eco-conscious message to the forefront of its customer experience.
