THE NEW YORK TIMES
Alongside the core news offering of the New York Times, the Games and Cooking apps have soared in popularity in the leisure space.
The work shown here, completed in collaboration with a marketing & design team, includes screenshot design for the NYT Games and NYT Cooking apps’ store listings — one of the first touchpoints a user would encounter before choosing to susbcribe.
Our strategy was to call back to the experience of using the apps while showcasing the most popular features. We omitted certain UI elements and highlighted others while retaining a sense of the fun and enlivening qualities of these games.
This work resulted in a 10K increase in monthly downloads in 2024.
