YALE BANNER

From 2019-2021, I served as Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Banner, Yale’s annual yearbook. 

The Banner has always followed a tradition of minimalist, clean design (spearheaded by Julia Ma, the 2019 editor-in-chief), that influenced my work. In 2021, the challenges of the pandemic pushed me to redirect the creative direction of the book to reflect the realities of hybrid education.

The 2021 Banner, pictured, showcases the cover I designed, the photography and layouts my team and I contributed, and overall my extensive collaboration with the printing consultants at Jostens, the yearbook company in partnership with Yale.
