THE NEW YORK TIMES


Alongside the core news offering of the New York Times, the Games and Cooking apps have soared in popularity in the leisure space.&#38;nbsp;
The work shown here, completed in collaboration with a marketing &#38;amp; design team, includes screenshot design for the NYT Games and NYT Cooking apps’ store listings — one of the first touchpoints a user would encounter before choosing to susbcribe.&#38;nbsp;
Our strategy was to call back to the experience of using the apps while showcasing the most popular features. We omitted certain UI elements and highlighted others while retaining a sense of the fun and enlivening qualities of these games.
This work resulted in a 10K increase in monthly downloads in 2024.

THE ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION
The AJC provides factual and down-to-earth reporting on all things Southern.&#38;nbsp;
With the team at Twigeo, I’ve helped with marketing efforts for the newspaper’s various verticals, the AJC app, and most recently, UATL (the AJC section on the Black community in the South).
Our process was to research and delve into the history and purpose of the newspaper, and then distill its essence into one guiding statement: “The AJC is the voice of the South.” We use this statement as our north star for how to present this revered 150-year-old newspaper in ads.

THESKIMM
theSkimm is a woman-founded newsletter whose key focus is to provide a concise yet in-depth, non-partisan yet expertly opiniated, and savvy overview of the daily news to women across the United States.

The work featured here involved a lengthy creative process in which our team roadmapped overarching ideas for each newsletter (Daily Skimm, Skimm Well, Skimm Shopping). We dove into audience research, consumer testimonials, and creative testing to bring our core concept to life: “make women feel seen.”

ERNESTAErnesta is a rising direct-to-consumer brand specializing in custom-sized, designer-quality rugs. This category-defying offering is what sets them apart in a market saturated by generic options.

In the duration of Twigeo’s partnership with Ernesta, I worked on storyboarding and production the videos and static assets to the right. We honed in on an aesthetic that would communicate Ernesta’s luxurious yet warm positioning, and walk a potential customer through the enhanced experience of buying a rug with Ernesta.

JUSTWORKSJustworks is an HR platform focused on providing big-business benefits to small business owners. The company takes a B2H — business to human — stance, making it easier for dreamers to do away with paperwork and bureaucracy, and pursue their passions.
These videos were created as YouTube banner ads promoting Justworks’s features and support of small businesses.
I kicked off the production process with storyboards steeped in research and feature exploration, which were complemented by voice-overs written by a strategist and then animated.

YALE BANNER
From 2019-2021, I served as Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Banner, Yale’s annual yearbook.&#38;nbsp;

The Banner has always followed a tradition of minimalist, clean design (spearheaded by Julia Ma, the 2019 editor-in-chief), that influenced my work.&#38;nbsp;In 2021, the challenges of the pandemic pushed me to redirect the creative direction of the book to reflect the realities of hybrid education. 
The 2021 Banner, pictured, showcases the cover I designed, the photography and layouts my team and I contributed, and overall my extensive collaboration with the printing consultants at Jostens, the yearbook company in partnership with Yale.&#38;nbsp;

SENTÉ
Senté is a skincare brand with a hallmark patented molecule, Heparan Sulfate Analog, featured in almost all products.

During Twigeo’s partnership with Senté, I created static assets and videos complementing two product launches, their Even Tone Mineral Sunscreen, and Cysteamine HSA, an anti-hyperpigmentation cream. I also supported ongoing paid social media marketing efforts for their Dermal Repair Cream, Dermal Repair Ultra-Nourish, and Bio Complete Serum.

FORESTED — MARYIZADuring the summer of 2020, I worked for up-and-coming startup Forested Foods, a company with brings the products of farmers from Ethiopia to the United States. The company thrives on a model that centers agroforestry, the practice of regenerative agriculture, as well as&#38;nbsp;sustainability and ethics.I was responsible for maintaining Maryiza’s social media presence, updating its brand guidelines, creating infographics, and developing a set of new packaging boxes for use in e-commerce. 
Reaching deep within the voice and purpose of the brand, I wrote copy and created graphics that brought Maryiza’s poetic and eco-conscious message to the forefront of its customer experience.
